Osmo Top Oil (3058) is a high solid wax and oil mixture. It is very easy to apply; it maintains a clear matt finish and is used especially for interior woodwork such as furniture, doors, cabinets and even kitchen work tops.
Wherever you need to protect and maintain the natural finish of wood, without colouring or adding a sheen, then Osmo Top Oil is ideal for the job. TopOil is perfect for use with doors, furniture, worktops and traditional kitchen counters.
Osmo Top Oil is water repellent and non-abrasive; it will not crack, peel or blister, and is recommended for use a base coat for use in kitchens. Better still, like all Osmo products, the Top Oil boasts an incredibly high coverage rate of 24m² per litre.
With as little as two coats of Osmo TopOil your wooden surface will be resistant to common household stains and harsh cleaning products. Be sure to use flexible sanding pads instead of sandpaper before and in between coats of Osmo Top Oil to get the best finish. Going against the grain with normal sandpaper can damage the surface and prevent a sound key for the coating. You do not need to go with the grain with flexible sanding pads.
