Osmo Polyx® Oil is one of the best wood coatings available on the market today. Osmo Polyx Oil is not only tough and durable, it easily outperforms mainstream varnishes and lacquers too; so it will save you money in the long run by not having to do as many coats, as often.
Osmo Polyx Oil has one of the highest coverage rates beyond any brand on the market today, at a wondrous 24m² per litre. Osmo Polyx Oil will retain the natural character of your wood whilst increasing its durability—it will not crack, flake or blister.
With a minimum of two coats, Osmo Polyx Oil will provide a tough and hardwearing finish. But for best results and to obtain a perfect finish, be sure to use flexible abrasive pads, and not sandpaper, before and in between each coats.
Osmo Polyx oil is the better and natural alternative for all types of internal woodwork. It is recommended for solid flooring, and also plankwood, OSB, laminated and cork.
As a finish, Osmo Polyx Oil is water and dirt repellent; it resists all sorts of household stains such as coffee and wine etc. Use Osmo Wash and Care to ensure the optimum performance and lifespan of your finished coating. Osmo Wash and Care is a natural, kinder cleaning solution for all finished flooring/timber.
As all Osmo products are based on natural oils, there are no harsh chemicals in the oil and so no lingering odour. Osmo Polyx Oil is extremely easy to apply and maintain! Happy days.
